During the last four years I have tutored over 90 high school and freshman college students in chemistry in the Carmel Valley/Del Mar area. Since retiring from my 21 year career as a pharmaceutical organic chemist with Merck, I get to use my breadth of laboratory hands-on chemistry knowledge and apply into helping every student understand from the basic to complex systems. I completely empathize when a student has a difficult time getting concepts for my older brother had the same challenges when we were young. Unfortunately, he did not have a science tutor and suffered many years into college trying to get the grade. I make it my mission for all of my students not to suffer like he did.

Hobbies
I am passionate about writing music, baking gluten free desserts and kriya yoga meditation. Reading non-fiction biographies of famous people and taking long walks in Carmel Valley are the best and most simple things I do every day. Over the last five years, my sister and I have an online purse/jewelry business. It's great because it was something we dreamt of doing when we were just kids.
