I am a 4th year Bioengineering major student with a minor in Entrepreneurship in UCSD. I have always been a slow-paced learner, so I genuinely understand why students have hard time understating certain concepts. I am very patient, so I do not mind explaining a concept in 100 different ways if that's what it takes to help my student. I believe anyone can be successful and score well in school tests and standardized tests if the student is sincere about trying and practicing.
Experience
I started tutoring SAT in 2013. I tutored at a prestigious private boarding school in Boca Raton, Florida, and parents were amazed by my ability to build working mentor-mentee relationships with students. All 6 of my former students performed extraordinarily on SAT ( >2100) after working with me for 3 months. I also help struggling high school students in math and science. I've been volunteering at Abraham Lincoln High School in National City, and making students fall in love with STEM subjects became one of my biggest passions.
