I have over three years of tutoring experience. I tutored a family in English as a second language while I was in college. I improved the family's English skills enough for them to independently communicate. I also have experience tutoring French. I tutored two grade school girls in French for two years. Those experiences gave me confidence in my tutoring skills. I have been able to keep students interests and help them develop in different languages. I am also comfortable tutoring reading, writing, and college test preparation. I believe that learning should be fun and easy. I like to change the view of studying from a task to a productive activity that encourages a person to become smarter. I find tutoring a passion because I enjoy the experience of helping others learn. I believe that it is rewarding to watch others learn and I am grateful to be part of that experience. I have a Bachelor of Arts in political science. I work at a nonprofit organization in California working toward feeding the hungry in San Diego. I have been in law school for one year. On my free time I enjoy activities around the house. I just started to learn how to surf.
