I earned my bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of California in San Diego, and plan to go on to medical school. Because of this interest, I have studied not only chemistry, but other pre-medical courses such as biology. I also have done very well in math subjects. I have had experience tutoring students who struggle in various math and science classes in both college and high school settings. I have a firm belief that a generation of citizens with a high degree of critical thinking and problem solving skills is what will provide the solution to pretty much all the greatest problems facing our world. This is a skill learned especially well through science and math courses, and can then be applied to any area of a student's life, or the world outside of academia in general. Outside of learning and tutoring, I enjoy weight training, biking, hiking, and playing soccer, as well as eating as healthy as possible.
